Statement to Client
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity exploration (including LGBTQ+ affirming care), and life transitions. Many of my clients are often struggling with confidence, setting boundaries, being in touch with their feelings and needs, and navigating meaningful relationships in their life. I form genuine connections with each of my clients and develop a true partnership to address challenges while celebrating growth and progress along the way. I provide a balance of space to process thoughts and feelings while also offering practical tools to support growth and lasting change. You can show up how you need to in a safe, warm and non-judgemental space.
As both a mom and a former School Social Worker, I also have a passion for working with children and teens. I have experience supporting youth with ADHD, Autism and other developmental disabilities who may be struggling with peer conflicts, school difficulties, emotional outbursts, and/or aggression. I am working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist and work with children 3 and older.
I’m licensed to provide telehealth to clients living in Colorado and Michigan, and also see clients in person at my Grand Rapids office. My services are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, BCN, and Priority Health. Feel free to reach out for a free 15 minute phone call to get your questions answered and explore if I am a good fit. I would love to become a part of your therapy journey.
