Expand Access to Care
Help individuals and families find clinicians who reflect their cultural identity, language, values, and lived experiences.
Our Mental Health Collective is building a statewide directory of licensed therapists, healers, and wellness practitioners who believe that every community deserves access to mental health care that honors culture, identity, language, and lived experience. Michigan continues to face significant gaps in culturally responsive care — especially for BIPOC communities, immigrants and refugees, LGBTQIA+ individuals, religious minorities, multilingual families, and others historically excluded from traditional systems. Too often, finding a provider who truly “gets it” requires luck, privilege, or personal connections. We’re changing that. When you join the OMHC Provider Directory, you become part of a growing network committed to increasing access, representation, and belonging in mental health and wellness care. Together, we help community members find trusted professionals who reflect their identities, understand their cultural realities, and provide affirming, culturally relevant support. And it’s completely free to join.

OMHC’s directory exists to highlight BIPOC mental health and wellness providers and ensure that communities of color can more easily find culturally rooted support. The directory centers practitioners whose training, identities, and lived experiences reflect the populations most impacted by systemic barriers in care. Others committed to this vision are welcome to stand alongside us in solidarity.
